"I spent a long time trying to find my center until I looked closely one night & found it had wheels & moved easily in the slightest breeze, so now I spend less time sitting & more time sailing."...Brian Andreas

Hi Dad & Beth, Sounds exciting, wish we all could be there with you guys. I'm glad its going well. We were alittle nervous when you said you were going out into the ocean, but we knew you could handle it, Your "DAD", you handle everything. The girls and Steve say hi, we love you and miss you. Talk to you soon.
Coyote is a Gulfstar 50-foot, sloop rig sailboat (that means only 1 mast). She was built in 1983 and is number 8 of only 17 Sailmaster design hulls built. We purchased her four years ago and have painstakingly refurbished practically every inch!
Welcome to our blog where Lynn and I will be regaling you with stories of our adventures sailing Coyote on the high seas. After four long years of preparation (also known, literally, as blood, sweat and tears) we traveled to the Bahamas on our first trip in the Winter of 2007...now we have begun the follow up adventure in 2009.
Where the heck are the Bahamas?
Accross the Gulf Stream about a 12-hour sail east of the Florida coast...

Hope you guys know how to sail, wear your water wings and that you get out of the harbor before it freezes over. Happy Trails!

"POPPOP"
I have known him forever
Or as long as I can remember
His grey hair and warm face
His jolly laughter and friendly smile
The funny things he says and does
The way he makes me feel so loved
The way he says guess what
Then answers "I love you"
His laugh is like Santa's
Loud and cheerful
His hug like a teddy bear
Warm and cuddly
His hugs and kisses
Show he really cares
How he says he will
Always be there
I Love you Poppop
